Malia Burchett is a senior at ɫ����Ƶ, pursuing a B.A. in Commercial Music with a concentration in Music Production and a minor in Worship Leadership. Throughout her time in the School of the Arts, she has gained hands-on experience as the keys player for the rock ensemble Montague and as the sound engineer for the worship ensemble Worship Collective. Beyond music, Malia is actively involved in campus life through her membership in Alpha Omicron Pi, Grace Dance Company, and ɫ����Ƶ Outdoor Adventure Club. She is entering her third year serving at The Dance Foundation, where she assists with teaching dance classes and supporting various programming needs. Prior coming to ɫ����Ƶ, Julianne graduated from Trinity School in Durham NC where she was on the Deans List, a peer tutor, member of the Mukanyo Club and member of the cross country team. In high school, Julianne worked with a local non-profit, Just TRYAN IT, which served families with children fighting childhood cancer through a yearly kids triathlon. She also served as a blood donor ambassador for the American Red Cross, hosting several blood drives at her school and church. While at ɫ����Ƶ, Julianne is studying nursing with hopes of persuing a career as a nurse in pediatric oncology. Julianne spent one summer at ɫ����Ƶ serving on summer staff for Lighthouse Family Retreat, which hosts week long beach retreats for children with cancer and their families. She worked as a shift supervisor at Bitty and Beau’s Coffee Shop, Kanakuk K-7, and thoroughly enjoyed her service placement at The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs, where she got to work closely with young children with special needs and developmental delays. Jordyn is passionate about the special needs community and helping individuals gain independence in their daily lives. To continue this passion, she will pursue a doctorate of Occupational Therapy to hopefully work as an OT with patients of traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries. At ɫ����Ƶ, Cate Rivers has been active in her church, her service with CVHC, and her sorority, Delta Delta Delta. Cate Rivers is passionate about getting the next generation involved in global missions. This passion led her to accept a role with a missions organization, where she focuses on church engagement and next-generation ministries. Before joining the Micah Fellows program, Madi served in her high school’s National Honor Society, as Chaplain in National English Honor Society, and in Student Council. In addition, she created her own club “We Can Connect” to help high school students to “find their tribe”. While in high school, she also hit the 10 year milestone of her riding horses. Madi aspires to work for a news organization, such as National Geographic, to continue her love of reading, writing, and photography. Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 6:8, Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”.

Before coming to ɫ����Ƶ, Eady graduated from the University School of Jackson with highest honors. Eady participated in and served in various leadership positions in her school’s Buddy Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Art Honor Society, and Spanish Club. She was very active in Young Life, and enjoyed spending her summers serving on work crew at a YL camp. Eady was active in Young Life Capernaum- which ministers to teens and young adults with disabilities. She was involved in starting her church’s “Belong” ministry, which works to build a faith-based community for adults with disabilities. Eady was a member of her school’s cross country and track teams for four years, and was active in her church’s youth group. Eady is studying Communication Sciences and Disorders, with the hopes of working in disability ministry one day.

After graduation, she aspires to attend law school and then use her degree to work with those who have been wronged by the medical field.

While attending ɫ����Ƶ, Citlali plans to study Marketing with a concentration in Social Entrepreneurship. After graduation, Citlali plans to earn her master's degree in business administration and then use her degrees to work with social non-profits focused on providing support for the homeless and lower income population, specifically mothers and children.

As well, she was an AP Scholar with Distinction. Olivia was active in her youth group at Southpointe Community Church and on their student leadership team. She also was involved in SALT (Service and Leadership Training) at Camp Crestridge and later worked as a counselor there. While at ɫ����Ƶ, Olivia is studying psychology with interest in development and hopes to work with kids in some way in the future!

While at ɫ����Ƶ, Jadyn plans to study Psychology (BS) on the pre-health track. After graduation, Jadyn hopes to attend medical school to become a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) to work in pediatrics. She wants to use this degree to take medicine internationally through a Christian lens to places where children’s medicine is not widely available.

Additionally, Nathan was involved with serving the student ministry at his church. Here, he led the student worship team, helped at middle school summer camps, and served at other various youth events. While at ɫ����Ƶ, Nathan is studying Computer Science. After graduating, Nathan plans to pursue a career in the cybersecurity industry.

In addition, Ella served as an academic aid and designed social media graphics for the athletic teams. While in high school, she also was a four year varsity volleyball player with 2 runner up state titles and an all region award. At ɫ����Ƶ, Christina plans to complete the early assurance pharmacy program and earn a doctorate of pharmacy at ɫ����Ƶ's McWhorter School of Pharmacy. After graduation, Christina intends on working as a hospital pharmacist and then eventually open her own compounding pharmacy.

Prior to coming to ɫ����Ƶ, Ella served as an FCA leader, played volleyball all four years, and was an AP scholar at Chattanooga Christian School. While attending ɫ����Ƶ, Ella plans to major in Economics or Entrepreneurship and minor in Social Entrepreneurship and Nonprofit management. After graduation, Ella's dream is to be working in the Nonprofit sector, responding to the brokenness of the world in a direct and tangible way.

Prior to attending ɫ����Ƶ, Amanda was a National Honor Society member, Senior Class President, and a dedicated Girl Scout who earned her Gold Award. While in high school, she also served as President of the Anchor Club and President of the National Spanish Honor Society, and was a lead singer on her school’s praise team. Amanda also served two years as her volleyball clubs team captain. Amanda plans to major in Health Sciences with a minor in Disability Studies and Business at ɫ����Ƶ. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and open her own pediatric therapy practice to help children with special needs reach their fullest potential!

Prior to attending ɫ����Ƶ, Abigail was a member of the National Honor Society, and the LLS Youth Leadership Committee. She was an a Team Leader for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign, raising over $100,000 for cancer research. Throughout her high school years she volunteered at the local children's hospital, mentored underprivileged children, taught Vacation Bible School, and was a team member for the LLS Student Visionaries Campaign. She was actively involved in her church through its youth group, small group, bible study, retreats and a mission trip. While at ɫ����Ƶ, Abigail will be studying Nursing with a minor in Nutrition. Following graduation, Abigail hopes to work as a registered nurse then attend Graduate School to pursue a Doctorate degree of Nursing. She aspires to be a Nurse Practitioner working in High-risk Pregnancies or Critical-Care Pediatrics.

Prior to attending ɫ����Ƶ, Audrey was valedictorian of her high school, Franklin Christian Academy. She participated in soccer for the first time Senior year, was stage director for the middle and high school musicals, and was a member of National Honors Society and the school's Student Council. She enjoyed serving, including going on mission trips with her high school to Belize and Rwanda. While enrolled at ɫ����Ƶ, Audrey hopes earn a Masters in Social Work. She plans to use her degree to continue to serve in her occupation and looks forward to being involved in a non-profit in the Birmingham community through ɫ����Ƶ's Micah Fellows program.

Adda was a student of American Christian Academy for 13 years before coming to ɫ����Ƶ. She was involved in many clubs including Beta, Philosophy, National Honor Society, and Spanish Club (which she was the president of). She played left fullback for the varsity soccer team, ran sprints on the varsity track team, and was captain of the cross country team. Adda plans to major in exercise science with minors in Spanish and Strength and Conditioning. After graduating, she plans to be a sports physical therapist and work with athletes, sharing the light of Jesus to everyone she meets.

Prior to coming to ɫ����Ƶ, Scarlett was a Frazier Fellow, a St. Angela Merici Scholar, and a National Honor Society member. While in high school, she also served for two years as a Middle School Ministry small group leader at her church, Southeast Christian Church. She also played on both the field hockey and cross country teams throughout her time in high school, and played club field hockey at Stealth. While attending ɫ����Ƶ, Scarlett plans to study Biochemistry on the pre-medical track, and pass the MCAT. After graduation, Scarlett aspires to attend medical school with plans of becoming an oncologist.

Prior to coming to ɫ����Ƶ, Cameron collected over 200 service hours during high school. Her favorite ways to serve were with 2nd graders at her church in Dallas, as a school ambassador and on the worship team. This summer, she was a camp counselor with Pine Cove City. At ɫ����Ƶ, she plans to major in Human Development and Family Sciences with hopes of continuing to work with kids after college.

Prior to coming to ɫ����Ƶ, Ben was a prominent member within his church and community. He played four years of varsity football with the opportunity to captain Huntsville High his senior year. Ben plans to study Sports Medicine while at ɫ����Ƶ and get involved in any way he can around campus. He hopes to one day earn his M.D. and give back as a practicing physician.

Before coming to ɫ����Ƶ, Sienna was an ambassador, a campus minister, in National Honor Society, and the editor of the yearbook at John Carroll Catholic High School. While in high school, she was also a varsity volleyball player for 3 years and was the captain her last year. While attending ɫ����Ƶ, Sienna plans to study public health. After graduation, she hopes to work with areas of need in Birmingham, whether through clinics for people without insurance, or working on the Alabama Department of Public Health team for those areas of need.

Before attending ɫ����Ƶ, Gracie graduated from Covenant Classical School. She held the role of team manager in Mock Trial, as well as participating in her school's Science Club, Philanthropy Club, and Cross Country Team. Moreover, she co-founded a volunteer club called Fida Corda (meaning "Faithful Hearts" in Latin) that served at local organizations in her community, such as Tarrant Area Food Bank, Community Enrichment Center, and Union Gospel Mission. At Christ Chapel Bible Church, she served in the Preschool Department in the Kids' Ministry by filling in the classrooms as a teacher or other roles where support was needed. Furthermore, she was a member of Keller Communicators, a Toastmasters Club, under the pathway, Persuasive Influence, where she engaged in presenting both prepared and impromptu speeches. She plans to attend graduate school and aspires to combine her love for science with her love of public speaking in her future career.

His goals are to work for an NBA team and become a published author.

Andi originated from Greenville, SC, where she spent her high school years serving hospice patients and communities experiencing food insecurity. While studying exercise science at ɫ����Ƶ, she aims to volunteer with medical nonprofits and continue serving the geriatric community. Andi has a passion for production and creating stories of all kinds. After graduating, she aspires to open her own research clinic specializing in geriatric and women's health.

Prior to coming to ɫ����Ƶ, Micah was senior captain of the varsity basketball team, a member of the musical theatre program throughout his high school career, and student body secretary at Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill in North Carolina. His passion turned out to be photography, primarily that of sports, and he has worked with various high schools and colleges, including Duke University Athletics. Micah has also been heavily involved in YoungLife, going to club every Monday and devoting weeks out of his summers to serve kids his age at camps around the country. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, piano, and ukelele. Micah is planning on studying Sports Marketing at ɫ����Ƶ, with hopes of working for a professional sports team one day.
