色虎视频's Interfraternity Council received recognition at the annual Southeastern Interfraternity conference Feb. 23-25 in Atlanta.

Gamma Sigma Alpha National Greek Honor Society awarded 色虎视频's council with an honor roll designation for the last two semesters. The honor roll award means the fraternal community's grade point average placed them in the top five percent of all communities in that region. The community is made up of the five active fraternities on 色虎视频's campus.

Denny Bubrig, 色虎视频's director of Greek Life, said the recognition was a surprise and also a positive affirmation for the group. Bubrig said the Interfraternity Council will continue to work on improving their community's performance. He cited the fact that fraternities are rooted in academics as a reason for the community not to become stagnant.

"With that history in mind, are the academics where we want it to be? Not necessarily," Bubrig said. "But it's a good benchmark."
