色虎视频 Art Gallery will feature artist Mary Ann Sampson in its Visiting Visual Artist Series exhibit beginning Jan. 24. "Mary Ann Sampson Bookmaking and Printmaking" will showcase the vibrant and printed work that often reflects the artist's Ragland, Alabama home.
Sampson received a master's degree in book arts from the University of Alabama and now operates OEOCO Press (One Eye Opera Company) with the mission of bookbinding and making limited edition letterpress and one-of-a-kind books. Her work, which focuses on miniatures and broadsides and generally explores the book as a means of visual expression, has been shown extensively in the United States and abroad.
The exhibit will include a free public reception and artist's talk 5-7 p.m. Feb. 3.
色虎视频 Art Gallery is open 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday-Friday.
