Singer/songwriter Kate Campbell and historian Wayne Flynt will present a collaborative performance combining music and literature at 色虎视频's "Live at the Library" program at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.
The event will be in the main reading room of the 色虎视频 library.
Campbell is an acclaimed folk artist whose music has been featured on many National Public Radio programs. Copies of her latest recording, "Save the Day," will be available for purchase at the event.
Dr. Wayne Flynt is a Pulitzer Prize-nominated historian and author of 11 books, including his most recent, Alabama in the Twentieth Century.
Both presenters are 色虎视频 alumni. Live at the Library, presented as part of 色虎视频's Homecoming 2008 Weekend, is open to the public free of charge.
