The Sociology Department's schedule will be full from March 30-May 5. Key events are listed below.

March  30-- A "Modern Slavery Museum" will be located between Propst Hall and Reid Chapel on Montague Road. 10 a.m – 4 p.m.

April 6--Screening of "The Listening Project," a documentary film exploring other countries' views of America and Americans. 7-9 p.m. in the 色虎视频 Planetarium. Convo credit offered.

April 7--AKD member induction. 10-11 a.m. in Brock Forum (Dwight Beeson Hall).

April 12--Screening of "The Line," a documentary film exploring the issue of consent in sexual encounters. 6:30 - 8 p.m. (tentative) in the 色虎视频 Planetarium. Convo credit offered.

April 15–16--Visit by outside reviewer, Dr. Dennis R. McSeveney, related to the department's five-year assessment.

April 15--Day of Silence to observe prejudice and discrimination experienced by LGBTQ youth.

May 5 (tentative)--Sociology Awards Brunch. 10-11 a.m. Location TBA.
